Jadagonii mound is a mound of ancient times, located in the Kaunas district, in the village of Jadagonii. This is one of the largest mounds in Lithuania. The mound contains the visible remains of the ancient settlement, including the foundations of a fortress and houses. The Mound Chapel contains burial sites where many relics and human bones have been found. Jadagonii mound is one of the tourist attractions in the Kaunas area and attracts many visitors, especially history and archeology lovers.
